By Metro (using the Metro is highly recommended as parking in the area is limited)

Red Line:  Take the Metro Red Line to Dupont Circle.  Exit at the Dupont Circle south exit.  As you exit the station, walk straight at the top of the escalator and continue (south) on 19th Street for approximately 1/2 block to "N" Street.  Turn right (west) on "N" Street and continue for 3 - 4 blocks. Turn left (south) on 22nd Street. Embassy Suites is on 22nd Street between "M" and "N" Streets

Orange and Blue Lines: Take the Orange or Blue line to Foggy Bottom/GWU.  At the top of the escalators, turn left (north) on 23nd Street.   Cross Washington Circle, proceeding north on 23rd Street or 22nd Street.   Embassy Suites is on 22nd Street between "M" and "N" Streets.

By Car (traveling by car is discouraged as parking in the area is limited.)  If staying at the hotel, please register before parking. Parking is  an additional daily charge.

The parking garage at Embassy Suites has very few spaces for day parking.  There is a small public garage directly across the street from Embassy Suites on 22nd Street.  There are few other public garages nearby, and there is little street parking around the hotel.

(The following directions are provided by Embassy Suites):
From I-95 (Baltimore, New York and Philadelphia area): Follow I-95 South, through Baltimore, to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway Exit. Follow the B/W Parkway South-Washington to Route 50 West Exit (do not follow I-295 South-Richmond). Follow Route 50 West (New York Ave.) to 6th Street and turn right. Follow 6th Street to M Street and turn left. Follow M Street to 22nd Street and turn right. The hotel is on the left hand side halfway down the block.

From I-95 and I-395 (Richmond area): Follow signs for I-395 North. Once on I-395 North get in far left lane and follow route 1 North into Washington DC (via the 14th Street Bridge). You are now on 14th Street. Follow 14th Street to Eye ("I") Street, turn left. Follow I Street to Pennsylvania Ave. (I Street will turn into Pennsylvania Ave.), veer right. Follow Pennsylvania Ave. to 22nd Street,, then turn right. The hotel is 3 1/2 blocks down on left hand side.

From I-270 towards Washington (I-270 will split, Northern Virginia to right, Washington to the left). Follow I-270 South to I-495 East. Follow I-495 East to Exit 355 South, Wisconsin Avenue. Follow Wisconsin Ave. to Massachusetts Ave. (National Cathedral will be on left). Go 1 block past Massachusetts Ave. and turn left onto Garfield Street (you cannot take left directly onto Massachusetts Ave. From Wisconsin Ave.) Follow 34th St to Massachusetts Ave (one block), turn right. Follow Massachusetts Ave to 21st Street, turn right. Follow 21st Street to New Hampshire Ave., Turn right. Follow New Hampshire Ave. to M Street, turn right. Follow M Street to 22nd Street, turn right. The hotel is 1/2 block down on left-hand side.

From 66 (Dulles, Virginia-via Key Bridge area): Follow Route 66 across the Roosevelt Bridge to the Constitution Ave Exit. Follow Constitution Ave to 22nd Street, turn left. Follow 22nd Street to C Street, turn left. Follow C Street to 23rd Street, turn right. Follow 23rd Street to I Street, turn right. Follow I Street to 22nd Street, turn left. The hotel is 4 1/2 blocks down on the left hand side.
